    Description

The Brazilian real is the official currency of Brazil. It is subdivided into 100 centavos. The Central Bank of Brazil is the central bank and the issuing authority. The real replaced the cruzeiro real in 1994. As of April 2016, the real is the nineteenth most traded currency in the world by value.
Besides this auction, I am posting several auctions listing all of the currency and coins that were collected by my father as he traveled.  He passed away recently and I thought his saved currencies may be appreciated by others.
I will be happy to combine auctions and use one mailing envelope - Flat Rate Priority.  I use Priority because it can be tracked and it's insured up to a certain point.
